Art Exhibition in the Jardins des Tuileries

Located in the Jardin des Tuileries, the Musée de l’Orangerie is home to an amazing collection of paintings and impressionist art.  Not far from this 5-star hotel, the Musée de l’Orangerie inspires quiet reflection after an exciting day of shopping on the Champs-Elysées or the narrow shopping street Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

Celebrating impressionist works of art

The Musée de l’Orangerie covers an area of more than 6,000 m² and is home to works of art by the most well known impressionist artists in Paris and in France.  Paintings by Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Amedeo Modigliani are part of the permanent exhibition. Take this opportunity to visit the 2 oval rooms of the Parisian museum, where you can see the famous series of approximately 250 paintings called the « Nympheas » (Water Lilies) by Monet.  This collection of immense canvases represents nature’s magical transformations throughout the seasons.
